Background Debbie has had a lifelong interest in the arts. She began painting in earnest after stepping away from her dental hygiene career. Expanding her skills from the decorative art field to fine art is a realization of growth and achievement. She has successfully participated the past 15 years in local art shows, winning many awards and ribbons. Opportunities to study with artists such as David Gray, Robert Warren, Elizabeth Robbins, Samuel Morgan Price, and many others is inspiring, giving  her perspective that could not be obtained any other way. Her boundless enthusiasm to share knowledge in a home studio setting, is the next progressive step and very satisfying. Pursuing all forms of art in a variety of media, allows her to be of service to others in pursuit of their visions. Endorsement With the guidance and encouragement of her husband and friends, she has achieved the distinction of being an authorized Genesis Artisan and has accreditation to teach the Ann Kingsland academic method of Decorative Art. She is an avid learner and enjoys gaining knowledge in the field by reading, studying, and attending conventions and associated workshops. Continuing education is a must for her as she is constantly climbing to the next level of expertise. She annually attends several high-level workshops in Georgia, North Carolina, California, and the Northeast in order to perfect her skills and to keep in touch with others of the same calling. She paints on location (Plein Air) regularly and is thankful to say that she is a Member of the St Augustine Art League, The Artist Workshop- New Smyrna, and The Art League of Daytona Beach.  Debbie’s Invitation To You Invest in yourself.
